Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: Nov 3, 2026 · Next review: Jan 26, 2027
Our commitment
Babyscripts is committed to making the myJourney patient app including its web, iOS, and Android experiences accessible to people with disabilities. We work to meet the international accessibility standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, which is also referenced by U.S. Section 508 standards used by many of our healthcare customers.
Current conformance posture
Babyscripts invests significant content creation, design, development and testing resources to accessibility.
An accessibility evaluation against WCAG 2.2 A and AA was completed in May 2026 and again in August 2026 using the VPAT® 2.5Rev template. Of the 56 evaluated criteria:
- Fully supports: 28
- Partially supports: 20
- Does not support: 0
- Not applicable: 8
- Not evaluated: 0
The detailed VPAT report is available. Please contact us at the email address below to request a copy.
How we test
Accessibility is checked at several points rather than only at audit time:
- Manual keyboard-only testing of interactive controls.
- Manual screen reader testing with VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android.
- A per-release manual accessibility test cycle maintained in our QA test management system.
- Accessibility acceptance criteria built into our pull request template and engineering Definition of Done.
- Periodic independent assessment by an external accessibility consultant.
- Automated WCAG checks in our continuous integration pipeline, and an accessibility review step for authored content, both currently being rolled out.
Governance
We have a named accessibility owner and a standing accessibility working group that meets to review open barriers, customer commitments, and this statement. This statement is reviewed quarterly and after any significant release.
Assistive technology compatibility
The myJourney app is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:
- iOS: VoiceOver
- Android: TalkBack
- Web (desktop): NVDA + Chrome or Firefox; JAWS + Chrome; VoiceOver + Safari
- Keyboard-only navigation across all interactive controls on the web app
Where a feature does not yet behave as expected with one of the above, please report it using the contact details below so we can prioritize a fix.
Report an accessibility issue
If you find an accessibility barrier on the myJourney app or any Babyscripts website, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and aim to respond within 5 business days.
Email: accessibility@babyscripts.com
When reporting, please include:
- The page or screen where the issue happened (URL, screen name, or screenshot)
- The assistive technology you were using (e.g., “VoiceOver on iPhone 14”)
- A description of what didn’t work
- A way for us to contact you back (optional, but it helps us close the loop)
If email isn’t accessible to you, please ask a member of your care team or your healthcare provider to relay the report and we’ll follow up the same way.
Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility report, you can escalate to Babyscripts Accessibility Owner, Kristian Thomas, Product Manager.
