In concert with a $500K investment, Inova will partner with Babyscripts to deploy the market’s most extensive, clinically-validated virtual care obstetrics platform; and support holistic care for mothers in pregnancy and postpartum.
Babyscripts is partnering with Penn Medicine, one of the world’s leading academic medical centers, to improve postpartum health. This partnership will pair Babyscripts’ remote monitoring technology with the knowledge gained from Penn Medicine’s Heart Safe Motherhood program (HSM) to improve the quality of postpartum care while lowering costs.
Babyscripts was announced as a winner in Phase 1 of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) Remote Pregnancy Monitoring Challenge on February 19, 2019. The winning innovations are technology-based solutions that help providers remotely monitor the health of pregnant women, and empower women to make informed decisions about their own care.
“This funding will help us continue to acquire market share while also allowing us to focus on building even more products for patients in pregnancy,” says Babyscripts CEO and Co-founder, Anish Sebastian. “We are excited to partner with a group like Philips — this is a great validation of our vision for obstetrics: a risk based model that we’ve coined ‘precision prenatal care’.”
The highly anticipated conference will take place on May 5, 2019 in Nashville, TN. Register now to secure your spot at the most innovative event for OBGYNs!
Babyscripts is excited to announce the acquisition of iBirth, which demonstrates Babyscripts’ commitment to investing in provider-delivered, clinically validated mobile tech for pregnancy.
